Pastoral Ministries
Provides the foundation for the development of a philosophy of ministry, integrating the concerns and pastoral responsibilities with respect to: evangelism, Christian education, discipleship, missions, leadership development, leading worship services/weddings/funerals/etc., planning for the future, relationships with the community and the Biblical ordinances.
Historical Theology I & II
A panoramic view designed to give the student a general understanding and appreciation of the church from the time of Christ to the present. Special emphasis will be given to the movements, individuals and principles that have made a significant impact upon the history of the church. A few examples of topics are: Gnosticism, Arianism, Nestorianism, Church Councils, ana-baptism, Catholicism, the Reformation, the Puritans, and the Great Awakening.
Introduction to Biblical Counseling
This course is designed to refine the students understanding of discipleship and the sufficiency of Scripture in Biblical Counseling.

Introduction to the Old/New Testaments
This course is focused upon the historical setting and culture of the OT, its composition and literary genre; the development of the canon of the OT and issues related to textual criticism. A study of the NT will also be included in the areas of: canonicity, textual criticism, and Synoptic Gospel criticism. In addition, contemporary theological movements will be evaluated.
How to Study to Preach
This course is focused upon developing the process of a literal, historical, grammatical understanding of the Scriptures.
Expository Preaching and Laboratory
The study of the preparation and presentation of expository sermons, this course provides explanation and opportunity for the student to practice and evaluate the preparation and presentation of sermons.
